Have you had a chance to check out the Prayer Journal Kit that is part of the Prayer Journal Workshop in the Grace in Color Classroom? If so, I hope you found the Journal fun to create and very useful in your prayer life. And I hope you will enjoy this fun journal as well… a Faith Journal for girls.
**SPOILER ALERT** If you have not gone through the Prayer Journal Workshop, you will have a chance to grab it at a super discounted price if you buy the Faith Journal Kit. Just sayin’)
I designed this Faith Journal Kit specifically with young girls in mind, although honestly, it’s great for any age! It turned out super cute and I can’t wait to show you.
Recently, I taught a Journal class for a 5th grade Bible Study and that’s where this kit was born. It was so much fun creating books with 15 little girls, and they completed them in ONE HOUR! (see, told you it was easy).
Just like with the Prayer Journal Kit, this kit is designed to allow you to make a Journal in a short amount of time. All you need is the ability to print out the graphics provided and a notebook to put everything in.
Unlike the Prayer Journal Kit, the Faith Journal Kit is intended to be used for more than just prayer. It has five section titles included plus a blank title. The first section is Praise & Gratitude because it is important to teach our children that our Almighty God deserves and demands our worship above all else. There is a section for Scripture to encourage memorization. The Bible Study section is great for their group or personal study. And finally, there are sections for Sermon Notes and Prayer.
The girls in my workshop were excited about the pretty books, but even more importantly, they walked away excited about journaling their faith. My prayer is that these girls and anyone who downloads this Kit will draw closer to God through the discipline of writing things down.

Included in the Faith Journal Kit:
These are intended to use as covers for your notebook, but they are also great as accent papers. Check out this video for step-by-step instructions on covering your journal.
I cut these out and put them at the bottom of the pages randomly. It just adds a bit to color and inspiration as you work through your journal.
These are perfect for bookmarks or tip-ins. I put these in little pockets in my journal that I make as reminders for prayer.
These are great to print out on cardstock to use to decorate your journal or tip in. They are great memory cards for your girls (and yourself).
The tabs can be cut out and stapled or glued to create sections in your notebook. The Titles are great to label each section.
And if you need more instructions on assembling your Journal, let me know and I’ll try to hook you up! Also, be sure to check out the Prayer Journal Workshop as well as the Journal in 7 Course, which is more detailed!
